Dr. Murod Ismailov
Dr. Murod Ismailov is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Education of Global Communication, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Tsukuba. He also teaches international security and politics through the medium of English at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. His research focuses on learner-centered pedagogy, EMI, telecollaboration, sustainability and climate change education. His recent articles were published in The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Educational Psychology, Frontiers in Psychology, E-Learning and Digital Media, Sustainability, Cogent Education, F1000 Research and other journals. He is the principal investigator of a Kakenhi C project on EMI teacher competencies in Japan. He holds MSc from Cranfield University and PhD in Political Science from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

Dr. Yukiko Yamamoto
Dr. Yukiko Yamamoto is an Associate Professor of Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, as well as a faculty member of the Nippon-Foundation Central Asia-Japan Human Resource Development Project at the University of Tsukuba. She teaches courses related to SDGs and English for both graduates and undergraduates. Her field of expertise is international developmental education and comparative education policies. Her current and previous research projects include English Medium Instruction (EMI), ICT integrated education in Mongolia, 21st century skills, entrepreneurial education. She is also interested in the application of social cartography in education policy field. She earned her Ph.D. degree from Administrative Policy Studies, School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh, USA.
